Spectators: 153 (Terracing: 115, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Christian Halstensen got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Bil McPhilip cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Kenneth Friis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Herygh Prunty who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Kenneth Friis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Herygh Prunty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Halstensen in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lewy McJon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Herygh Prunty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Friis having to interfere. Steffen Haukås's late challenge caught a St. James Gate F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Steffen Haukås helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rakkestad IF's Steffen Haukås got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Herygh Prunty hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the St. James Gate F.C. defense, Christian Halstensen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lewy McJon. The St. James Gate F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lewy McJon should have stopped the shot. Otto Klepp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lewy McJon having to interfere. Kenneth Friis made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Herygh Prunty sent off a good shot on target. 38 minutes into the match, Christian Halstensen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lewy McJon. St. James Gate F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Halstensen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Lewy McJon came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rakkestad IF's Christian Halstensen. But to his dismay, Christian Halstensen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3.

In the 50th match minute, Rakkestad IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Linus Todal to maneuver through the defense. Christian Halstensen kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Rakkestad IF's goal looked a bit too open when Bil McPhilip came free, but Kenneth Friis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Otto Klepp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Bil McPhilip hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lewy McJon made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Christian Halstensen sent off a good shot on target. 71 minutes into the match, Otto Klepp notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of St. James Gate F.C.'s Lewy McJon. Lewy McJon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Herygh Prunty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bil McPhilip struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kenneth Friis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for St. James Gate F.C.. In the 93rd minute, Rakkestad IF's Christian Halstensen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lewy McJon. Lewy McJon yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. After having played for 96 minutes, Otto Klepp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rakkestad IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Otto Klepp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rakkestad IF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
