In the 15th minute, Meelis Toots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 18th minute Edvin Leesi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonas Järve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Edvin Leesi came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Karupargi Kommionud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edvin Leesi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 24 minutes, Jüri Näksi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karupargi Kommionud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jüri Näksi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Peep Normann's late challenge caught a Karupargi Kommionud's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Peep Normann helped the player get up and apologised. Peep Normann kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Edvin Leesi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Joonas Järve when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 38 minutes into the game, Meelis Toots threw the ball into play from the sideline. Karupargi Kommionud's Sulev Rakke quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viljar Niidumaa made a kick off. Jörgen Kasemetsa hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Karupargi Kommionud getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Kusti Äetma hit a great ball. Joonas Järve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aigar Mahlaoks, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Peep Normann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
