Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edvin Leesi started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Karupargi Kommionud's Jüri Näksi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. If Gary Gowan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Rangers FC's Kuuno Tali threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Keith McNiter, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tom Laaser hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Gary Gowan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kuuno Tali having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith McNiter in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuuno Tali prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nick Lamb made in the 24th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Karupargi Kommionud's Üllar Urbalu. After 27 played minutes Karupargi Kommionud got a freekick which was hit by Jörgen Kasemetsa. Keith McNiter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Kuuno Tali tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Urmas Vatsar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Rangers FC's Nick Lamb tried to score from far away in the 33rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Raymond Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kuuno Tali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith McNiter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Karupargi Kommionud's Sulev Rakke got a free kick in the 38th minute. Karupargi Kommionud's Kuuno Tali proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Karupargi Kommionud from getting a goal against them. Nick Lamb made in the 43rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stevie McGilvray. Raymond Johnston in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kuuno Tali, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raymond Johnston to make the kick off. Kuuno Tali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith McNiter in the 57th minute of play. Karupargi Kommionud's Kuuno Tali played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keith McNiter in the 60th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aigar Mahlaoks during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 65th minute, Aigar Mahlaoks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kuuno Tali made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Johnston in the 71st minute of play. Tom Laaser blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fergus Fairbairn having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aigar Mahlaoks in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fergus Fairbairn saved Rangers FC from getting behind. 82 minutes into the game, Sulev Rakke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karupargi Kommionud's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rangers FC the free kick. Karupargi Kommionud's Ergo Kaljumäe was substituted for Sulev Rakke. A collision led to Karupargi Kommionud getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sulev Rakke hit a great ball. Kuido Põldmaa kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Aigar Mahlaoks could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. Rangers FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
