Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arnfred Gerbom started the match with the kick off. The The Tigers fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when The Tigers's Carl Atkins looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregory Rawson in the 8th minute of play forced Pheonix FC's goalkeeper Kim Steinthal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 10th minute of the match The Tigers got a corner. Pheonix FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Liam Clark ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kim Steinthal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carl Atkins's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Carl Atkins had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kim Steinthal. Pheonix FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carl Atkins was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Gregory Rawson kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, The Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Arnfred Gerbom came free, but Franz Dunlop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frazer Heath received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kim Steinthal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Nordhald's late challenge caught a The Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Nordhald helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st minute, Ali Nordhald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Carl Atkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Atkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim Steinthal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carl Atkins in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kim Steinthal saved Pheonix FC from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carl Atkins to make the kick off. A hard shot 51 in the game by Carl Atkins from a close distance when the talented Kim Steinthal managed to make a qualified save. Pheonix FC's players were relieved. Carl Atkins in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kim Steinthal, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 63 minutes into the game, Carl Atkins cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Kim Steinthal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the game, Carl Atkins lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Kim Steinthal. The supporters of Pheonix FC booed when The Tigers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carl Atkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kim Steinthal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Atkins in the 82nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Carl Atkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Tigers's supporters rose to their feet, but Carl Atkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kim Steinthal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Tigers played a much better game than Pheonix FC and deserved their victory. The Pheonix FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
