In the 6th match minute, Gædd FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Lyssand to maneuver through the defense. Ludvig Hilstad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Egidijus Buivys showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goalkeeper Ludvig Hilstad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Algimantas Zakaras. Karsten Zakariassen kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Egidijus Buivys came free, but Ludvig Hilstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Gædd FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ludvik Eilertsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the game, Egidijus Buivys cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Ludvig Hilstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Lillemo in the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute Egidijus Buivys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Hilstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Gražvydas Kadys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Savage Hippo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gražvydas Kadys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Egidijus Buivys managed to get in a good position for a shot. Savage Hippo's supporters rose to their feet, but Egidijus Buivys was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ludvig Hilstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gædd FK's Ludvig Hilstad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Gædd FK from getting a goal against them.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henrik Lillemo to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Karsten Zakariassen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gædd FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Savage Hippo the free kick. Karsten Zakariassen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gædd FK defense, Gražvydas Kadys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ludvig Hilstad. The Gædd FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ludvig Hilstad should have stopped the shot. Preben Bjerga did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Jogaila Palčiauskas 61 minutes into the match. Preben Bjerga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Jogaila Palčiauskas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute Gražvydas Kadys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludvig Hilstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Preben Bjerga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jogaila Palčiauskas having to make a save. Ludvig Hilstad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gražvydas Kadys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
