The supporters of Savage Hippo booed when Fc Meremõisa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Rännu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundas Kšanavičius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmas Tohter having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ants Kalle in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jogaila Palčiauskas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urmas Tohter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaidas Rakauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Fc Meremõisa getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Siim Oksa hit a great ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Voldemar Kivimäe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Meremõisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Voldemar Kivimäe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jogaila Palčiauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rando Saari in the 35th minute of the match. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jogaila Palčiauskas firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd minute Robert Rännu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jogaila Palčiauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Rando Saari recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jogaila Palčiauskas. Rando Saari showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Voldemar Kivimäe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vaidas Rakauskas hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Feliksas Mickeliūnas kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Savage Hippo's zone, Voldemar Kivimäe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jogaila Palčiauskas came out of the goal and Voldemar Kivimäe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Rännu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savage Hippo's Jogaila Palčiauskas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Voldemar Kivimäe in the 79th minute of play. Robert Rännu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes Fc Meremõisa got a freekick which was hit by Voldemar Kivimäe. Voldemar Kivimäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jogaila Palčiauskas having to interfere. Fc Meremõisa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
