Otso Ranne kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. When René Oberleitner fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The Potters's protests and gave René Oberleitner a yellow card for diving instead. 21 minutes into the game, one of The Potters:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Jesper Frænde came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the The Potters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesper Frænde couldn't finish the play. 43 minutes into the match, Vesa Markkanen notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of The Potters's Melkior Fausbæk. Melkior Fausbæk was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matthias Donhof stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute, Savon Palloseura's Kaarle Väätäinen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melkior Fausbæk. Melkior Fausbæk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Melkior Fausbæk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vesa Markkanen in the 72nd minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Savon Palloseura had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
