In the 13thth minute of the game Urmet Vainsalu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Großberghofen's Klemens Mehnert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Udo Nördershäuser got free with Haarald Nemvalts in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Urmet Vainsalu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Klemens Mehnert was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Ahti Laadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Haarald Nemvalts managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Großberghofen's Udo Nördershäuser fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Urmet Vainsalu kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Udo Nördershäuser in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haarald Nemvalts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Renatus Nützel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haarald Nemvalts having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Renatus Nützel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Großberghofen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renatus Nützel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Janno Pukk fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Viplala's protests and gave Janno Pukk a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Großberghofen booed when FC Viplala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janno Pukk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haarald Nemvalts acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eugen Prinzing. Janno Pukk kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes, Großberghofen's Arne Mostert shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Haarald Nemvalts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Großberghofen reached it. After a defensive mix-up in FC Viplala's zone, Udo Nördershäuser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haarald Nemvalts came out of the goal and Udo Nördershäuser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Uuno Ande was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's Robert Lepik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Klemens Mehnert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Elar Arumäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klemens Mehnert having to interfere. Klemens Mehnert made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Uuno Ande sent off a good shot on target. Haarald Nemvalts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Udo Nördershäuser in the 59th minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Renatus Nützel came free, but Haarald Nemvalts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Teet Konsa during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Viplala's Teet Konsa got a free kick in the 66th minute. Eugen Prinzing took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haarald Nemvalts. FC Viplala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 67 minutes into the game, Urmet Vainsalu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Großberghofen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klemens Mehnert should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Eugen Prinzing cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Haarald Nemvalts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haarald Nemvalts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nördershäuser in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute Udo Nördershäuser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haarald Nemvalts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes, Udo Nördershäuser made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Viplala's Haarald Nemvalts tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Haarald Nemvalts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Udo Nördershäuser in the 96th minute of play.
