Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Thorbjørn Engsholm made the kick off which started today's match. Graham Long sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Siegmund Milow fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saco FC's protests and gave Siegmund Milow a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Staffordshire Terrier FC booed when Saco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Siegmund Milow didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jannich Brolyng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Graham Long went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the match, Rich Clough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jannich Brolyng. Saco FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rich Clough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Graham Long received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jannich Brolyng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Babe Spencer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thorbjørn Engsholm hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Graham Long shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannich Brolyng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sammy Button sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toby Atkins during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Staffordshire Terrier FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Toby Atkins hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Saco FC's Siegmund Milow dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rich Clough was the one to do the kick off. Jannich Brolyng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rich Clough in the 51st minute of play. Siegmund Milow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Blair Buckle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wolfgang Bartolini, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Sammy Button suffered a sore thigh after 77 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Viktor Hurvig charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viktor Hurvig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Saco FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Viktor Hurvig hit a great ball. In the 79th minute of the match Jeff Weir shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jannich Brolyng showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Staffordshire Terrier FC's Blair Buckle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wolfgang Bartolini in the 84th minute of play. In the 85th minute, Graham Long hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blair Buckle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wolfgang Bartolini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thorbjørn Engsholm blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blair Buckle having to make a save. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Staffordshire Terrier FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
