Corinthians FC's David Bettney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Klimke in the 18th minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper David Bettney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Wadham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacob Kobel having to interfere. Richie Goacher kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Corinthians FC's David Bettney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abbo Ditsche in the 24th minute of play. David Bettney was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 44th play minute Abbo Ditsche came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Bettney. 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnny Wadham made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Abbo Ditsche cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. David Bettney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 57 minutes into the match, Manfred Klimke had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Bettney. Corinthians FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manfred Klimke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. The supporters of Spandauer Rain Kings booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Goacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Spandauer Rain Kings's Abbo Ditsche nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Bettney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0.
