Spectators: 161 (Terracing: 121, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Johnny Wadham made the kick off and thus started the match. David Bettney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tauras Bagūnas in the 10th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tauras Bagūnas came free, but David Bettney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tris Stockley hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Corinthians FC's Toby Dunn got a free kick in the 15th minute. Jogaila Jameikis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Geležinis Vilkas defense, Johnny Wadham kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romualdas Karalius. The Geležinis Vilkas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romualdas Karalius should have stopped the shot. In the 25th minute Tauras Bagūnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Bettney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Corinthians FC's David Bettney played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tauras Bagūnas in the 28th minute of play. Toby Dunn hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. David Bettney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deimantas Valys, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Valentas Bizauskas struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. David Bettney didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geležinis Vilkas. In the 42nd minute, Richie Goacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adomas Bacys in the 45th minute of play forced Corinthians FC's goalkeeper David Bettney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Bettney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tauras Bagūnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tris Stockley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Valentas Bizauskas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geležinis Vilkas and the Corinthians FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Corinthians FC booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentas Bizauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deimantas Valys stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Geležinis Vilkas's Tauras Bagūnas got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Geležinis Vilkas's Tauras Bagūnas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Bettney. David Bettney yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. David Bettney made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tauras Bagūnas in the 57th minute. Romualdas Karalius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Wadham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tris Stockley took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Romualdas Karalius. Romualdas Karalius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Corinthians FC's David Bettney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Corinthians FC from getting a goal against them. David Bettney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deimantas Valys, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Bettney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Corinthians FC's goal looked a bit too open when Deimantas Valys came free, but David Bettney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Geležinis Vilkas booed when Corinthians FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Goacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Deimantas Valys in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Bettney saved Corinthians FC from getting behind. Reg Renner hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. David Bettney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deimantas Valys in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Geležinis Vilkas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentas Bizauskas to maneuver through the defense. The Corinthians FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
