Asmund Ødegård made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Olfert Lodian sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Vikjorden getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Paul Lindquist hit a great ball. After 17 minutes, Runar Røe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vikjorden and the Holmkjar Hotspurs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Vikjorden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Runar Røe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Halfdan Wøldike could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Asmund Ødegård however easily saved by the left post. 21 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halfdan Wøldike. Aleksander Thalbitzer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kjetil Arnesen, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After a rather tough play, Vikjorden's Kjetil Arnesen got a free kick in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Halfdan Wøldike. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Halfdan Wøldike notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Kjetil Arnesen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vikjorden's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjetil Arnesen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aleksander Thalbitzer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
