Spectators: 159 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) Tahvo Seppä was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 4th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 9th minute, Ilmo Kaven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Oslo City FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dagfinn Nergaard to maneuver through the defense. Theodor Sandal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 15th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarmo Heikkinen in the 16th minute of play forced Oslo City FC's goalkeeper Theodor Sandal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Theodor Sandal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tahvo Seppä, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Manne Ikola charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manne Ikola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Manne Ikola. Asgeir Roald hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Theodor Sandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Liverpool FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ilmo Kaven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tahvo Seppä kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Liverpool FC's Tomi Pihlman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sindre Anwar in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Oslo City FC defense, Tuukka Liimatainen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theodor Sandal. The Oslo City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theodor Sandal should have stopped the shot. After 60 played minutes Oslo City FC got a freekick which was hit by Christer Angelsen. The long shot by Tahvo Seppä in the 62nd minute really tested Theodor Sandal's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 63 played minutes Liverpool FC got a freekick which was hit by Manne Ikola. In the 65th minute, Tarmo Heikkinen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liverpool FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Theodor Sandal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilmo Kaven in the 68th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Liverpool FC's Tuukka Liimatainen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theodor Sandal. That made the score 0-5 after 69 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Liverpool FC's Theodor Sandal threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ilmo Kaven, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Oslo City FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. Sindre Anwar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomi Pihlman having to interfere. Oslo City FC's Theodor Sandal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilmo Kaven in the 90th minute of play. Theodor Sandal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iikka Haapaniemi in the 93rd minute of the match. When the match was over Liverpool FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oslo City FC throughout the match.
