Untte BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vikjorden the free kick. After a rather tough play, Untte BK's Gjermund Winger got a free kick in the 29th minute. Asmund Ødegård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Halvor Selstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Brage Sandvoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Hans Nordnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Untte BK's Tor-Magnus Skjelstad dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Asmund Ødegård came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Untte BK's Tor-Magnus Skjelstad. But to his dismay, Tor-Magnus Skjelstad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Anders Fjeldberg made the kick off in the second half. Brage Sandvoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Hans Nordnes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ole-Martin Rynning made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vikjorden's Runar Røe. Hans Nordnes made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Brage Sandvoll sent off a good shot on target. Vikjorden were furious when Joachim Dehli was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 61st minute, one of Vikjorden:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vikjorden. In the 72nd minute Anders Fjeldberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Asmund Ødegård saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Vikjorden defense, Halvor Selstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Asmund Ødegård. The Vikjorden fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Asmund Ødegård should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Vikjorden's goal looked a bit too open when Halvor Selstad came free, but Asmund Ødegård reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asmund Ødegård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tor-Magnus Skjelstad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anders Fjeldberg in the 95th minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Kjetil Arnesen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute, Kjetil Arnesen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hans Nordnes was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1.
