Asmund Ødegård showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sindre Anwar, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sindre Anwar in the 14th minute of play forced Vikjorden's goalkeeper Asmund Ødegård to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sindre Anwar in the 18th minute of play. Hans-Erik Fotland kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Morten Kråkenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Oslo City FC defense, Brage Sandvoll kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Theodor Sandal. The Oslo City FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Theodor Sandal should have stopped the shot. Asmund Ødegård took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halvdan Bakken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vikjorden's Runar Røe managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eilert Sverdrup in the 42 minute of the game. Brage Sandvoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Theodor Sandal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjetil Arnesen was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Hans-Erik Fotland took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Asmund Ødegård to make any attempt to save it. Runar Hagen hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Vikjorden's Asmund Ødegård played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sindre Anwar in the 63rd minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Vikjorden's Kjetil Arnesen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Theodor Sandal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Asmund Ødegård showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johan Helle in the 90th minute of the match. Sindre Anwar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Asmund Ødegård made a huge save. The Vikjorden support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
