Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Chip Preece started the match with the kick off. Aleksander Thalbitzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from CJ Trusswell in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute Piers Maloney shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Thalbitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clapham Comets F.C.'s Chip Preece was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aleksander Thalbitzer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Vilfred Bornkessel was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 13th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 17th minute, Frank Fowler made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Thalbitzer. Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Sebastian Cross made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Halfdan Wøldike sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Olfert Lodian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Cross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halfdan Wøldike during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aleksander Thalbitzer came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Clapham Comets F.C.'s CJ Trusswell. But to his dismay, CJ Trusswell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Aleksander Thalbitzer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Fowler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aleksander Thalbitzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chip Preece in the 33rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frank Fowler during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Clapham Comets F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Fowler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Aleksander Thalbitzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Fowler in the 41st minute of play. Helmuth Mannsmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Clapham Comets F.C.'s Vern Calder got a free kick in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Clapham Comets F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Olfert Lodian came free, but Sebastian Cross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Olfert Lodian to strike the kick off in the second half. Aleksander Thalbitzer was a little too slow when CJ Trusswell got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 56th match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Halfdan Wøldike to maneuver through the defense. Halfdan Wøldike was shown his second yellow card after 59 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Clapham Comets F.C. were furious when Vern Calder was red carded, 65 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Anton Dagger replaced Anders Bogholdt. In a very dangerous position, a player in Clapham Comets F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Clapham Comets F.C.:s Sebastian Cross showed great skill when he stopped Helmuth Mannsmeier:s penalty. In the 72nd minute, Chip Preece made a precise shot to the right of Aleksander Thalbitzer. Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Sebastian Cross made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olfert Lodian in the 75th minute of play. Aleksander Thalbitzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aleksander Thalbitzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chip Preece in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Chip Preece shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aleksander Thalbitzer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Jimi Okley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Cross. Clapham Comets F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jimi Okley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. The Clapham Comets F.C. players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
