Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Klāvs Kadis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Ojārs Markūns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Klāvs Kadis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Konrāds Svabinskis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Linas Gimžauskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernestas Genys in the 19th minute of play forced GAUJA's goalkeeper Konrāds Svabinskis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute, Ernestas Genys got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 25th minute by Klāvs Kadis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When GAUJA's Klāvs Kadis in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Žalia Giria's goalie prevented a goal. Rūtenis Sartauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrāds Svabinskis having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Ernestas Genys hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th match minute, FC Žalia Giria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jogaila Radeikis to maneuver through the defense. FC Žalia Giria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Klāvs Kadis scored to the left of an out of position Linas Žvigaitis, making the score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Rūtenis Sartauskas got free with Konrāds Svabinskis in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Klāvs Kadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Linas Žvigaitis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldonis Dizenbergs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linas Žvigaitis having to interfere. When Jogaila Radeikis fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Žalia Giria's protests and gave Jogaila Radeikis a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Žalia Giria's Jogaila Radeikis got a free kick in the 71st minute. Jogaila Radeikis got his second yellow card in the match during the 73rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of GAUJA booed when FC Žalia Giria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jogaila Radeikis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robertas Vaičius made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rūtenis Sartauskas immediately put the ball in play. Klāvs Kadis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Linas Žvigaitis having to interfere. In the 86th minute Klāvs Kadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Linas Žvigaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linas Žvigaitis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldonis Dizenbergs in the 87th minute of play. Aldonis Dizenbergs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Ardis Pavtovics had to leave the field with a concussion. Linas Gimžauskas charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Linas Gimžauskas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. GAUJA made a substitution. Matīss Taubergs replaced Ardis Pavtovics. Aldonis Dizenbergs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. GAUJA fully deserved thier win.
