The shot was a little too simple and Emanuel Greshake could save by the left post. 18 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goalkeeper Emanuel Greshake had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Irvin Wulz. Rodrigo Schliemann succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 19th playminute. Emanuel Greshake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kilian Böhme in the 23rd minute of the match. Emanuel Greshake showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Irvin Wulz, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Balus Treter's Eggert Neumann got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Irvin Wulz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eggert Neumann hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Emanuel Greshake made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Irvin Wulz sent off a good shot on target. Eggert Neumann was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 42nd match minute, Balus Treter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eggert Neumann to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC 08 Brühl booed when Balus Treter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiri Rilke didn't get a good kick on the ball.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. René Lazarus was the one to do the kick off. Balus Treter's Emanuel Greshake played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kilian Böhme in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Irvin Wulz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Emanuel Greshake was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Heribert Kimpel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Greshake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. FC 08 Brühl's Damir Heuchel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lukas Wagner in the 59th minute of play. After 60 minutes, Lukas Wagner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balus Treter and the FC 08 Brühl players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Balus Treter got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Wagner. 61 minutes into the match, Kilian Böhme had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emanuel Greshake. Balus Treter's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kilian Böhme was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Emanuel Greshake didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Schliemann went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 68th match minute, Balus Treter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lukas Wagner to maneuver through the defense. Max Eichwald hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute Heribert Kimpel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Greshake saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Irvin Wulz in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Greshake saved Balus Treter from getting behind. After having played for 77 minutes, René Lazarus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balus Treter's supporters crossed their fingers, but René Lazarus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hannes Bayer during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, FC 08 Brühl was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannes Bayer to maneuver through the defense. Irvin Wulz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emanuel Greshake. 6-0. 96 minutes into the match, Balus Treter's goal looked a bit too open when Heribert Kimpel came free, but Emanuel Greshake reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
