Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kasper Munkvold started the match with the kick off. With his leg Philip Molland managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when SC Otten's Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sture Hægeland hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes SC Otten got a freekick which was hit by Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stian Steen in the 10th minute of play forced SC Otten's goalkeeper Olaf Lübke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes had been played when some careless play by SC Otten's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kim-André Valle was slow to take the kick. During this time Brufoss IL's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, SC Otten's Hansjörg Görlitz got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 18th minute, Markus Braseth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Philip Molland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olaf Lübke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Odin Grønvold, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes, Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Otten and the Brufoss IL players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of SC Otten booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joachim Mikalsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mel Ecker's late challenge caught a Brufoss IL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mel Ecker helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Mel Ecker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Philip Molland made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Kartikeya von Gyldenfeldt made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Brufoss IL's goal looked a bit too open when Mel Ecker came free, but Philip Molland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 56 minutes Brufoss IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Reinhold Friedl who took care of the corner kick. Philip Molland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mel Ecker in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Brufoss IL's zone, Mel Ecker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Philip Molland came out of the goal and Mel Ecker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brufoss IL's goalkeeper Philip Molland, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ronnie Schilder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th match minute, SC Otten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hellmuth Mönch to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Stian Steen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brufoss IL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Otten the free kick. Stian Steen hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Andreas Williams hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 82 minutes into the game, Rudi Tenhagen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Philip Molland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronnie Schilder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Brufoss IL's Kim-André Valle got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 92 minutes, Markus Braseth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brufoss IL and the SC Otten players grew even worse after the yellow card. Markus Braseth hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Hellmuth Mönch hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Otten had played much better football throughout.
