Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Rudi Tenhagen made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the game, Ronnie Schilder cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Niels Willendrup was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 13 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Kenzie. The corner ended in Sargon Baek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Randers A.F.C.'s Niels Willendrup did a great save. In the 17th minute, Kristian Ingels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th match minute, Randers A.F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Owe Thorkells to maneuver through the defense. Kornelius Lynbek kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Sargon Baek struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Niels Willendrup didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Otten. Ernest Carstengren hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Randers A.F.C.'s Tycho Tapager got a free kick in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kristofer Mark during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Kristofer Mark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38th minute, Owe Thorkells hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Otten's Ronnie Schilder got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristofer Mark kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. A collision led to SC Otten getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rudi Tenhagen hit a great ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kaj Rubaun to make the kick off. Olaf Lübke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorleif Dandrup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olaf Lübke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Ingels in the 64th minute of the match. Olaf Lübke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaj Rubaun in the 67th minute of play. SC Otten's Mirco Maier was substituted for Rudi Tenhagen. 78 minutes into the match, Kaj Rubaun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Olaf Lübke. SC Otten's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kaj Rubaun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Mirco Maier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederik Vielmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niels Willendrup having to interfere. Ernest Carstengren's late challenge caught a SC Otten's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernest Carstengren helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Randers A.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Ernest Carstengren. Mirco Maier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 94th minute, Thorleif Dandrup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hellmuth Mönch hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Randers A.F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
