He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Jk Tammeka 90 reached it. If Heino Eluvee had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Lembit Noorpea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helmuth Feller got free with Kalju Kruus in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 18 minutes into the match, Egert Sõnajalg notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of DJK Füchtel Vechta's Niels Lettrari. Niels Lettrari was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 22nd minute, Enar Vanaots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmuth Feller fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kalju Kruus having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Helmuth Feller got free with Kalju Kruus in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 minutes, Markus Alpermann mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DJK Füchtel Vechta and the Jk Tammeka 90 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Niels Lettrari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heino Eluvee in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 60th minute Helmuth Feller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kalju Kruus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Niels Lettrari got control of the ball when Egert Sõnajalg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kalju Kruus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Helmuth Feller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, DJK Füchtel Vechta's goal looked a bit too open when Heino Eluvee came free, but Niels Lettrari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
