Alfred Dærups short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Ebbe Høgenhaug to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ebbe Høgenhaug made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kaspar Thabo in the 21st minute. Alfred Dærup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ebbe Høgenhaug having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Robin Hagensted managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strib Galacticos IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robin Hagensted was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The tension between the Strib Galacticos IF and the Vestegnens Betonhelte players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Robin Hagensted hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfred Dærup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vilmar Irdorf kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Dærup in the 67th minute of play forced Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Ebbe Høgenhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Magnus Kyrning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ebbe Høgenhaug stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Dærup's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Rikardt Kjeldsvig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Ren, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Dærup in the 80th minute of play forced Vestegnens Betonhelte's goalkeeper Ebbe Høgenhaug to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goal looked a bit too open when Ivar Orry came free, but Rikardt Kjeldsvig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Strib Galacticos IF's Rikardt Kjeldsvig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivar Orry in the 85th minute of play. Ivar Orry received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rikardt Kjeldsvig came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivar Orry slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Strib Galacticos IF's goalkeeper Rikardt Kjeldsvig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Blomner. Rikardt Kjeldsvig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Orry in the 93rd minute of play.
