Dylan Bartlett made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Björn Eigler sent off a good shot on target. Ladislaus Veith didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Bridgewater went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kris Oddy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joseph Hasenjäger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Dylan Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Coventry Wasps's Kris Oddy suffered a concussion in the 20th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthias Schwendler during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Coventry Wasps's Vincent Sands was substituted for Kris Oddy. Matthias Schwendler hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Hasenjäger in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dylan Bartlett saved Coventry Wasps from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronnie Blakeley in the 26th minute of play forced VfL Bad Nenndorf's goalkeeper Ladislaus Veith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Eigler scored 1-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Bartlett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Iker Banzmeier seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iker Banzmeier the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VfL Bad Nenndorf protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iker Banzmeier had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Iker Banzmeier hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Jannes Stegemann managed to get in a good position for a shot. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters rose to their feet, but Jannes Stegemann was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 42 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Abegg. Ladislaus Veith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Corcoran in the 43rd minute of play. After having played for 45 minutes, Björn Eigler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VfL Bad Nenndorf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Björn Eigler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Jannes Stegemann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dylan Bartlett. Dylan Bartlett yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Björn Eigler to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Benjamin Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Björn Eigler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, VfL Bad Nenndorf's Jannes Stegemann nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dylan Bartlett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 61st minute, Coventry Wasps's Vincent Sands ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ladislaus Veith. Ladislaus Veith yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. In the 64th minute, Kevin Pilgrim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Eigler in the 69th minute of play. Bruce Roche kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ladislaus Veith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Sands in the 72nd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes VfL Bad Nenndorf got a freekick which was hit by Esteban Käpernick. The crowd rose to their feet as Coventry Wasps's Greg Corcoran slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ladislaus Veith. That made the score 3-3 after 79 minutes of play. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ronnie Blakeley got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ladislaus Veith was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 85th minute Björn Eigler suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 86 minutes into the game, Benjamin Wiley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry Wasps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave VfL Bad Nenndorf the free kick. VfL Bad Nenndorf's Omar Giese was substituted for Björn Eigler. Benjamin Wiley kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Coventry Wasps's zone, Edgar Abegg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dylan Bartlett came out of the goal and Edgar Abegg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lucas Bridgewater received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ladislaus Veith came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Bridgewater slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 90th minute. Ante Ernesti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Omar Giese scored 4-4 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dylan Bartlett, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Coventry Wasps were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing VfL Bad Nenndorf to leave the ground with a draw.
