The supporters of Strib Galacticos IF booed when Suleskard was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jørund Bruun didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 27 played minutes Strib Galacticos IF got a freekick which was hit by Robin Hagensted. 32 minutes into the match, Suleskard's goalkeeper Christoffer Smestad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Dærup. 35 minutes into the game, one of Suleskard:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 41st minute, Trym Kjelsrud hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christoffer Smestad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Robin Hagensted showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alfred Dærup made a kick off. If Petter Ryen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, Robin Hagensted left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Strib Galacticos IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jørund Bruun fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suleskard's protests and gave Jørund Bruun a yellow card for diving instead. Jørund Bruun hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Ludvik Sundt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rikardt Kjeldsvig read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Alfred Dærup got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
