Spectators: 174 (Terracing: 131, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aare Hindremäe took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Greg Corcoran hit a great ball. In the 4th minute, Haarald Ling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC Dundee's Ivari Olumets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Oddy in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Coventry Wasps's Donny Paget got a free kick in the 12th minute. Aare Hindremäe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Bridgewater in the 15th minute of play forced FC Dundee's goalkeeper Ivari Olumets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aare Hindremäe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Bartlett having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Greg Corcoran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coventry Wasps's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Dundee the free kick. A collision led to Coventry Wasps getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Greg Corcoran hit a great ball. Ivari Olumets came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Coventry Wasps's Greg Corcoran. But to his dismay, Greg Corcoran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. FC Dundee's Haarald Ling got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Dundee's Ivari Olumets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Oddy in the 32nd minute of play. Ivari Olumets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Bridgewater, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivari Olumets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Corcoran, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Kris Oddy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivari Olumets having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Blakeley. In the 42nd minute, Markus Lausmäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivari Olumets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Blakeley in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Valdo Orumets mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Dundee and the Coventry Wasps players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Ronnie Blakeley took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Ivari Olumets to make any attempt to save it. In the 56th minute Aare Hindremäe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Bartlett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coventry Wasps's goalkeeper Dylan Bartlett, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. FC Dundee's Valdo Orumets got his second yellow card of the match in the 64th minute. The referee ordered Valdo Orumets off the ground. A collision led to FC Dundee getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Valdo Orumets hit a great ball. After 66 played minutes FC Dundee got a freekick which was hit by Markus Lausmäe. After a rather tough play, FC Dundee's Markus Lausmäe got a free kick in the 69th minute. Coventry Wasps made a substitution. Vernon Myers replaced Kris Oddy. In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Dundee fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! In the 83rd minute, Coventry Wasps's Kevin Pilgrim dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Vernon Myers hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Coventry Wasps's Ronnie Blakeley got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Lucas Bridgewater could shoot a difficult shot in the 90th minute, which Ivari Olumets however easily saved by the left post. After 93 played minutes Coventry Wasps got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Pilgrim. The audience was convinced that Ronnie Blakeley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivari Olumets was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. 97 minutes into the match, Vernon Myers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivari Olumets. FC Dundee's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vernon Myers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coventry Wasps eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
