Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Allan Bramble kicked off to start the match. After 2 played minutes Skellerup FC got a freekick which was hit by Caspar Ambrink. Simon Slater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caspar Ambrink, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Rod Reading kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Leicester Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Caspar Ambrink came free, but Simon Slater reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute Caspar Ambrink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Slater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verne Silvester struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ejvin Møllekær didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leicester Lions. Skellerup FC's Ejvin Møllekær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ashley Hamilton in the 12th minute of play. In the 19th minute of the match, Walter Fur got a very nice opportunity to score, but Simon Slater was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Skellerup FC's Ejvin Møllekær played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Verne Silvester in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Leicester Lions's Simon Slater got control of the ball when Caspar Ambrink tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Leicester Lions's Max Wills nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ejvin Møllekær made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ejvin Møllekær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Hamilton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leicester Lions were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Skellerup FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ashley Hamilton took the corner. Simon Slater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Ebler in the 37th minute of play. Simon Slater showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jørgen Ebler, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After 41 played minutes Leicester Lions got a freekick which was hit by Duncan Lawless. Caspar Ambrink was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 41st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Simon Slater showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jørgen Ebler in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jørgen Ebler to make the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Leicester Lions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beinn Medley to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Jørgen Ebler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Simon Slater was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute, Ashley Hamilton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nathan Leyburn came free, but Ejvin Møllekær reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Verne Silvester kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ejvin Møllekær. That made the score 0-3 in the 73 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathan Leyburn in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ejvin Møllekær prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ejvin Møllekær took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Wills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ejvin Møllekær made an important save on a dangerous shot by Allan Bramble in the 82nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Verne Silvester during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Skellerup FC booed when Leicester Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verne Silvester didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Leicester Lions walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
