Frede Raunsholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ejvin Møllekær showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berthold Sibbern, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frede Raunsholm in the 11th minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Ejvin Møllekær to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Habakkuk Given made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jørgen Ebler in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Hvam FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Lennarth Larnou hit a great ball. After 18 minutes, Habakkuk Shearer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hvam FC and the Skellerup FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Habakkuk Shearer hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Habakkuk Given took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Kvistborg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Frede Raunsholm came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Hvam FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frede Raunsholm couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frede Raunsholm to strike the kick off in the second half. Rolf Bersner kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. If Frede Raunsholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Skellerup FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hvam FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
