Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) Tord Sundnes made the kick off and thus started the match. When Runar Holmgren fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Daustad's protests and gave Runar Holmgren a yellow card for diving instead. After 5 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Runar Holmgren. Edgard Leirvåg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Haugerud hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Sturle Åsland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tord Sundnes in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Åsnes booed when Daustad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrik Kanestrøm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Isachsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgard Leirvåg in the 26th minute of play. Alfred Isachsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Haugerud in the 28th minute of play. Daustad's Alfred Isachsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Leirvåg in the 30th minute of play. In the 31st minute of the match Åsnes got a corner. Daustad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kristian Sandersen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Petter Vartdal made a great header on Åsnes's corner, it was just that Daustad's Alfred Isachsen managed to reach the ball for a save. Alfred Isachsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristian Sandersen in the 36th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Petter Vartdal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfred Isachsen.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Leirvåg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sebastian Kvernmo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sturle Åsland was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 60th minute Tord Sundnes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sturle Åsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Dehli kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Daustad's Tord Sundnes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Åsnes getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Petter Vartdal hit a great ball. Sturle Åsland came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Daustad's Tord Sundnes. But to his dismay, Tord Sundnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. A collision led to Daustad getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Tord Sundnes hit a great ball. Sebastian Kvernmo's late challenge caught a Åsnes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Kvernmo helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Daustad got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Kvernmo. After a defensive mix-up in Daustad's zone, Daniel Haugerud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Isachsen came out of the goal and Daniel Haugerud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kristian Sandersen in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfred Isachsen saved Daustad from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Runar Holmgren in the 89th minute of play forced Åsnes's goalkeeper Sturle Åsland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Åsnes's Petter Vartdal got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Petter Vartdal off the ground. In the 90th match minute, Åsnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petter Vartdal to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the game, Daustad's Tord Sundnes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sturle Åsland made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 95th minute, Kristian Sandersen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åsnes's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
