Spectators: 205 (Terracing: 154, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeff Bignot in the 4th minute of play forced Academica Pulheim's goalkeeper Alvo Kobe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 7th minute, Phil Tolley made a precise shot to the right of Alvo Kobe. Academica Pulheim's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Barnabas Rogge hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Justin Beevers was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 14 minutes into the match. Alvo Kobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phil Tolley in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match, Gunther Daun got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marek Wray was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Karsten Oppmann came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Academica Pulheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karsten Oppmann couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Academica Pulheim's goal looked a bit too open when Phil Tolley came free, but Alvo Kobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Phil Tolley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC LIVERPOOL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academica Pulheim the free kick. In the 35th match minute, FC LIVERPOOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Tolley to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Thilo Haupt dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marek Wray, 2-1. The supporters of Academica Pulheim booed when FC LIVERPOOL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rupert Hawkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC LIVERPOOL defense, Barnabas Rogge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marek Wray. The FC LIVERPOOL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marek Wray should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Barnabas Rogge made the kick off in the second half. FC LIVERPOOL's Marek Wray played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Oppmann in the 52nd minute of play. Marek Wray didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gunther Daun went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Academica Pulheim's Kevin Meißel was substituted for Hadrian Greilinger. Marek Wray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunther Daun, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeff Bignot got free with Alvo Kobe in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 played minutes Academica Pulheim got a freekick which was hit by Arnd Freye. In the 75th minute Barnabas Rogge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marek Wray saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marek Wray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas von Puttkammer in the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Gunther Daun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kevin Meißel charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Meißel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Academica Pulheim! In the 94th minute Phil Tolley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvo Kobe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phil Tolley came free with the goalkeeper in the 96th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alvo Kobe could save by the left post. In the 97th minute, Tristram Atkins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. FC LIVERPOOL's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
