Callum Pell's late challenge caught a Absoliut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Callum Pell helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes, Absoliut's Sigitas Barasa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Thomas Mitchell came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Absoliut reached it. In the 10th minute Marty Schofield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karolis Badauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thomas Mitchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modestas Merkelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Harchester United booed when Absoliut was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigitas Barasa didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Absoliut getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sigitas Barasa hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Absoliut's Marius Zybartas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomas Mitchell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Les Cooke kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Thomas Mitchell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Zybartas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Skirmantas Skrebys got a free kick in the 40th minute. Les Cooke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karolis Badauskas. Absoliut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Harchester United's Thomas Mitchell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigitas Barasa in the 43rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Absoliut's Arūnas Gaižiūnas got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 45th match minute, Harchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marty Schofield to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Kev Higgins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karolis Badauskas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1.

54 minutes into the match, Harchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Sigitas Barasa came free, but Thomas Mitchell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Marty Schofield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karolis Badauskas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Modestas Merkelis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomas Mitchell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marty Schofield in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karolis Badauskas saved Absoliut from getting behind. Karolis Badauskas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kev Higgins in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Sigitas Barasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harchester United made a substitution. Harvey Clarke replaced Ricky Chalk. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Saville during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 82 played minutes Harchester United got a freekick which was hit by Robert Saville. Karolis Badauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marty Schofield in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute of the match Sigitas Barasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomas Mitchell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Karolis Badauskas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kev Higgins in the 88th minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Andrius Šarkauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Les Cooke took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Karolis Badauskas. Absoliut's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Harchester United's Marty Schofield got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Hayden Hickson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karolis Badauskas was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. The Absoliut players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
