Spectators: 206 (Terracing: 155, Seating: 47, VIP seats: 4) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Henri Villem got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hertha 1969's goalkeeper Alf Kleinert, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hertha 1969's Alf Kleinert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henri Villem in the 7th minute of play. Ronald Kask kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Adi Köhler took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lennart Merioja. Kogimyae JK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute, Olavi Lainevoog hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joonas Nõmmiste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alf Kleinert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hertha 1969's zone, Leopold Eit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alf Kleinert came out of the goal and Leopold Eit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alf Kleinert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Kask in the 29th minute of play. Ago Erikson hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes, Harry Rupp made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Kogimyae JK's Lennart Merioja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lutz Ertel in the 36th minute of play. Alf Kleinert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henri Villem in the 40th minute of play. Kogimyae JK's Ronald Kask couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hertha 1969. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lutz Ertel was the one to do the kick off. After 54 minutes, Olavi Lainevoog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kogimyae JK and the Hertha 1969 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kogimyae JK's Olavi Lainevoog got a free kick in the 54th minute. Lennart Merioja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lutz Ertel in the 58th minute of play. After 64 played minutes, Kogimyae JK's Ronald Kask shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alf Kleinert came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kogimyae JK reached it. The supporters of Kogimyae JK booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adi Köhler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alf Kleinert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henri Villem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lennart Merioja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lutz Ertel in the 89th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hertha 1969 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
