Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Patrice Deltour kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Chaponnay FC's Farid Walch got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Patrice Deltour dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pierre-Antoine Joron, 1-0. Pierre-Antoine Joron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrice Deltour, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Chaponnay FC defense, Patrice Deltour kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre-Antoine Joron. The Chaponnay FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre-Antoine Joron should have stopped the shot. The corner led Fierce's Bérenger Laure to fire away a dangerous shot which Pierre-Antoine Joron despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 36th minute, Hugues Delas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raoul Leseur was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. If Ewan Busin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raoul Leseur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugues Delas in the 43rd minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matheo Gaborit to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Fierce booed when Chaponnay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hugues Delas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Fierce defense, Bruno Thoraval kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raoul Leseur. The Fierce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raoul Leseur should have stopped the shot. Bruno Thoraval sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chaponnay FC's zone, Rodolphe Goyard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierre-Antoine Joron came out of the goal and Rodolphe Goyard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chaponnay FC's Mickaël Gamet was substituted for Farid Walch. Chaponnay FC's Jean-Philippe Bras was substituted for Matheo Gaborit. In the 70th minute, Patrice Deltour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 71 minutes into the match, Fierce's goal looked a bit too open when Jordy Vuillaume came free, but Raoul Leseur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Chaponnay FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavian Cozic to maneuver through the defense. Bérenger Laure hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The Chaponnay FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Chaponnay FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
