The supporters of Fierce booed when Drafi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akis Charalambidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bérenger Laure took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Babbis Petroutsos. Drafi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 18 minutes, Rodolphe Goyard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fierce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolphe Goyard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Drafi defense, Ewan Busin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Babbis Petroutsos. The Drafi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Babbis Petroutsos should have stopped the shot. Antonis Skatzos kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 45th minute Patrice Deltour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Babbis Petroutsos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrice Deltour to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Drafi's goalkeeper Babbis Petroutsos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrice Deltour. Fierce's Raoul Leseur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ntinos Ioannidis in the 54th minute of play. Ali Deck hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Drafi's Panagiotis Mitsibonas got a free kick in the 60th minute. Patrice Deltour scored 0-4 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Babbis Petroutsos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pipis Georgakis kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Bérenger Laure got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Guerrero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fierce's Christopher Guerrero got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Drafi fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fierce were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
