Thanasis Rizos kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, ERGOTELIS's goal looked a bit too open when Valerios Souliotis came free, but Panagiotis Kastanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanasis Papaspyrou took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panagiotis Kastanis. Thanasis Papaspyrou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Panagiotis Kastanis made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ERGOTELIS's zone, Thanasis Papaspyrou stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panagiotis Kastanis came out of the goal and Thanasis Papaspyrou tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the last second Panagiotis Kastanis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Valerios Souliotis in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Valerios Souliotis struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Panagiotis Kastanis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PAOK B. PAOK B's Thanasis Papaspyrou got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vaggelis Tsigounakis in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michalis Valeras prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Vaggelis Tsigounakis sped through PAOK B's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Michalis Valeras. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of ERGOTELIS:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of PAOK B:s goal. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, PAOK B's Thanasis Papaspyrou got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Panagiotis Kastanis.

The wind increased when Vaggelis Tsigounakis made the kick off in the second half. PAOK B's Antonis Arabatzis was substituted for Thodoris Vangelis. Nikos Kontosoros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Michalis Valeras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the game, Argyris Anastasiadis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After 81 minutes, Valerios Souliotis made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. ERGOTELIS's Panagiotis Kastanis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
