Patras F.C.'s Aris Tsobanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferruccio Castronovo in the 26th minute of play. Ian Fenomeni's Concetto Vasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save A.S. Ian Fenomeni from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Antonopoulos in the 78th minute of play forced A.S. Ian Fenomeni's goalkeeper Concetto Vasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sotiris Panagiotopoulos took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Concetto Vasco. Concetto Vasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
