Diego De Lorenzi charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Anfilogino Tenaglia hit a great ball. Fivos Darlas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Concetto Vasco made a huge save. Panagiotis Dentsas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Castronovo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 27 minutes, Ferruccio Castronovo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ferruccio Castronovo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Theocharis Louverdis to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to A.S. Ian Fenomeni getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Dave Nicolini who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Panagiotis Dentsas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. INTER's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dave Nicolini 78 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1.
