Patras F.C.'s Aris Tsobanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salmakis Pezos in the 8th minute of play. In the 9th match minute, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nessos Blades to maneuver through the defense. 11 minutes into the match, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goal looked a bit too open when Sotiris Panagiotopoulos came free, but Polybos Christofis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anestis Kolofotias in the 39th minute of play forced ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's goalkeeper Polybos Christofis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aris Tsobanis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Akheron Dimakakos in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Nessos Blades nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aris Tsobanis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Akheron Dimakakos got a free kick in the 45th minute. Anestis Kolofotias charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anestis Kolofotias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ booed when P.A.O.K.
