Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sakis Manousos started the match with the kick off. In the 5th minute, Aurelio Pari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Miltos Kyriazis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 8th minute, Fabio De Luca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florian Di Campli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prodromos Banasopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sakis Manousos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Di Campli having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Supremacy Catania FC's Aurelio Pari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miltos Kyriazis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 28th minute Sakis Manousos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Di Campli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AEK S.C's Miltos Kyriazis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Saraceni in the 30th minute of play. Miltos Kyriazis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aldo Paganelli went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Aurelio Pari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Arioli in the 45th minute of play forced AEK S.C's goalkeeper Miltos Kyriazis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Saraceni hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diego Arioli to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, AEK S.C's Miltos Argyrakos got a free kick in the 51st minute. Supremacy Catania FC's Dario Saraceni got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Diego Arioli came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Supremacy Catania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Arioli couldn't finish the play. In the 65th minute, Emiliano Bassani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute, Demis Ksiros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes AEK S.C got a freekick which was hit by Anastasios Lazos. AEK S.C's Miltos Kyriazis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Arioli in the 70th minute of play. When Soulis Karataidis fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AEK S.C's protests and gave Soulis Karataidis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd minute, Soulis Karataidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Supremacy Catania FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. AEK S.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Supremacy Catania FC the free kick. Diego Arioli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Miltos Kyriazis. AEK S.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Supremacy Catania FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
