Ignatios Brilakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Alkaios Kalfopoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Alexis Gelis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alkaios Kalfopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ignatios Brilakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Ignatios Brilakis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alkaios Kalfopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Gelis. After 15 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Thymios Kitrinos. ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Alkaios Kalfopoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Katzelis in the 16th minute of play. Alkaios Kalfopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignatios Brilakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aggelos Labrakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Aggelos Labrakis came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Labrakis couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's goal looked a bit too open when Ignatios Brilakis came free, but Alkaios Kalfopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Makis Argyrakis charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Makis Argyrakis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alkaios Kalfopoulos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Katzelis, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the game, ΟΦΗ's Ignatios Brilakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alkaios Kalfopoulos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 48 played minutes ΟΦΗ got a freekick which was hit by Fanis Schistos. ΟΦΗ's Fanis Sigalas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 49th minute of the match, managed to save ΟΦΗ from getting a goal against them.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ignatios Brilakis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexis Gelis in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fanis Sigalas saved ΟΦΗ from getting behind. 58 minutes into the match, ΟΦΗ's goal looked a bit too open when Antonis Sapounopoulos came free, but Fanis Sigalas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ΟΦΗ's zone, Antonis Sapounopoulos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Sigalas came out of the goal and Antonis Sapounopoulos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Sofoklis Stathatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ΟΦΗ and the ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, ΟΦΗ's Sofoklis Stathatos got a free kick in the 60th minute. A collision led to ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Thymios Kitrinos hit a great ball. After 91 played minutes ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Thymios Kitrinos. In the 91st minute, Makis Argyrakis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑΚΟΣ ΜΙΛΑΝΟΥ's Alkaios Kalfopoulos didn't even have to move. In the 95th minute, Makis Argyrakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menios Taganikas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alkaios Kalfopoulos having to interfere.
