The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Glyka Nera FC's Sakis Karvouniaris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Glyka Nera FC from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Sakis Karvouniaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jovica Daev. In the 21st match minute, Wonderkids was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filip Makedonski to maneuver through the defense. Emil Nikoloski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marios Tomaras in the 25th minute of play. Sakis Karvouniaris came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Wonderkids's Gavril Sarev. But to his dismay, Gavril Sarev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Glyka Nera FC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Lakis Kassimatis hit a great ball. 37 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's goalkeeper Sakis Karvouniaris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jovica Daev. 42 minutes into the match, Glyka Nera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Makedonski came free, but Sakis Karvouniaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sakis Karvouniaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boban Vasilevski, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Andon Mihailovski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sakis Karvouniaris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thalis Papaefthimiou was the one to do the kick off. Thalis Papaefthimiou received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emil Nikoloski came out and tried to block the shot, but Thalis Papaefthimiou slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 53rd minute. Filip Makedonski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Glyka Nera FC booed when Wonderkids was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blerim Mitkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Marios Tomaras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelios Egomitis's late challenge caught a Wonderkids's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stelios Egomitis helped the player get up and apologised. Stelios Egomitis kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Thalis Papaefthimiou got free with Emil Nikoloski in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the game, Wonderkids's Jovica Daev nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sakis Karvouniaris made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Wonderkids's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
