Nestoras Kavvadias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Chatzichristos in the 8th minute of play. Nestoras Kavvadias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Giorgos Mikros, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Molendikó FC's Nestoras Kavvadias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Botitsis in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute Andreas Psarras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestoras Kavvadias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Molendikó FC's Nestoras Kavvadias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Botitsis in the 42nd minute of play. The Molendikó FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dhafnospiliá BC were winning 0-3.

The crowd rose to their feet as Dhafnospiliá BC's Giannis Botitsis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nestoras Kavvadias. That made the score 0-4 after 51 minutes of play. Nestoras Kavvadias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Giorgos Mikros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nestoras Kavvadias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. After some careless play in the Molendikó FC defense, Thomas Chatzichristos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestoras Kavvadias. The Molendikó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestoras Kavvadias should have stopped the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Molendikó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Mikros came free, but Nestoras Kavvadias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Dhafnospiliá BC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themis Karagiorgis to maneuver through the defense. Nikiforos Theofilou struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nikos Kaminaridis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Molendikó FC. In the 96th minute, Errikos Melonakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dhafnospiliá BC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
