The supporters of Molendikó FC booed when f.c. sKRotone was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antonio Burgnich didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 38th match minute, Molendikó FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Errikos Melonakos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errikos Melonakos in the 46th minute of play forced f.c. sKRotone's goalkeeper Alberto Presutti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. f.c. sKRotone's Alberto Presutti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marinos Magos in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniele Quattrocchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nestoras Kavvadias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Di Placido, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Nestoras Kavvadias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Di Placido in the 76th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Molendikó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Villani came free, but Nestoras Kavvadias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that f.c. sKRotone were the better team. f.c. sKRotone's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
