Ettore Mazzocchetti struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ferdinando Cusumano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA Lord Perez. Ferdinando Cusumano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alessio Martini, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Arrigo Guidoni hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The supporters of Squadra de Pippe booed when LA Lord Perez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corrado Di Blasio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armin Bondi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonello Molinari in the 48th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurelio De Marchi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armin Bondi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Biondi in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Arrigo Guidoni left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA Lord Perez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. A collision led to Squadra de Pippe getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Fausto Del Gatto hit a great ball. In the 71st minute Aurelio De Marchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinando Cusumano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, LA Lord Perez's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Augusto Marini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Augusto Marini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Armin Bondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
