Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Léonard Beuve got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Nugues in the 3rd minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mark Borg Xuereb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Templars FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mark Borg Xuereb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yves Amet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Peter Degiorgio fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Templars FC's protests and gave Peter Degiorgio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute Mark Borg Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Amet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th match minute, Avel Vat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salim Pariset to maneuver through the defense. Mark Borg Xuereb struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Yves Amet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Templars FC. Léonard Beuve could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dylan Pizzuto made a huge save. Dylan Pizzuto made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Simon Collinet sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Léonard Beuve got free with Dylan Pizzuto in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute Mark Borg Xuereb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Amet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Amet came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Templars FC's Peter Degiorgio. But to his dismay, Peter Degiorgio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Yves Amet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Borg Xuereb in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Simon Collinet got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After having played for 44 minutes, Simon Collinet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Avel Vat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simon Collinet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Côme Rouquette got a free kick in the 46th minute. Mark Cuschieri took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yves Amet. Avel Vat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Mark Borg Xuereb dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yves Amet, 0-2. Dylan Pizzuto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Collinet in the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Avel Vat's Simon Collinet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dylan Pizzuto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bakary Soula fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Avel Vat's protests and gave Bakary Soula a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Avel Vat getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Bakary Soula hit a great ball. Mark Cuschieri's late challenge caught a Avel Vat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Cuschieri helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Templars FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Mark Cuschieri hit a great ball. After 78 minutes, Léonard Beuve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Avel Vat and the Templars FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Léonard Beuve kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Avel Vat's Simon Collinet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dylan Pizzuto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Geoffrey Estienne got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Avel Vat supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Templars FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Templars FC.
