Spectators: 160 (Terracing: 120, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aurelio De Marchi started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match Andrea Capasso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armin Bondi skillfully saved the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Dave Ottaviani shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Armin Bondi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Filippo Punta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio De Marchi in the 12th minute of the match. Alessio Martini recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinando Carosella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Armin Bondi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinando Carosella made a kick off. Carloforte f.c.'s Ferdinando Carosella got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ferdinando Carosella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armin Bondi firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 59th minute, Federico Fabrizi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Carloforte f.c.'s zone, Aurelio De Marchi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filippo Punta came out of the goal and Aurelio De Marchi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute, Aurelio De Marchi made a precise shot to the right of Filippo Punta. Carloforte f.c.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Dino Di Nucci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dino Di Nucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 played minutes Carloforte f.c. got a freekick which was hit by Dave Ottaviani. Arrigo Guidoni's late challenge caught a Carloforte f.c.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arrigo Guidoni helped the player get up and apologised. Arrigo Guidoni hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Carloforte f.c.'s Dino Di Nucci got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. LA Lord Perez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ettore Mazzocchetti in the 81st minute. With a little luck, LA Lord Perez's Armin Bondi got control of the ball when Ferdinando Carosella tried to sneak it across the goal line. Filippo Punta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelio De Marchi in the 91st minute of the match. If Ferdinando Carosella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carloforte f.c.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
