Alberto Luciano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Dylan Pizzuto made a huge save. In the 9th minute Peppino Azzopardi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Ucci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Eurospeed Asti's Florian Morini dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 16th minute, Mark Borg Xuereb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Pizzuto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Morini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mark Borg Xuereb scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Ucci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dylan Pizzuto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Luciano in the 28th minute. In the 29th match minute, Eurospeed Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fedele Menichini to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Eurospeed Asti getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Claudio Pollastrini hit a great ball. Alex Ucci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Degiorgio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Degiorgio came free, but Alex Ucci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd match minute, Eurospeed Asti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Pollastrini to maneuver through the defense. Mark Cuschieri struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Alex Ucci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Templars FC. Florian Morini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Pizzuto having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Florian Morini in the 52nd minute of play forced Templars FC's goalkeeper Dylan Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Eurospeed Asti's goalkeeper Alex Ucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mark Borg Xuereb. Alex Ucci was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Mark Borg Xuereb capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mark Borg Xuereb really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 68th minute, Adam Aquilina reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alex Ucci. The goal made the score 2-3. In the 71st minute Alvise Caporale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dylan Pizzuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alex Ucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mark Cuschieri in the 76th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Mark Borg Xuereb made a precise shot to the right of Alex Ucci. Eurospeed Asti's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Dylan Pizzuto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Florian Morini went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Peppino Azzopardi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
