After a rather tough play, forsal FC's Amedeo Bottega got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for forsal FC! In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Valdieri. Elia Mascitti stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Massa. 1-0. Alfredo Rizzo's late challenge caught a Valdieri's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredo Rizzo helped the player get up and apologised. Alfredo Rizzo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Augusto Massa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elia Mascitti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmine Alati in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Valdieri was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edoardo Cabrini to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Di Lullo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bianco Caroselli in the 19th minute of the match. Bianco Caroselli scored 1-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bianco Caroselli in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Valdieri booed when forsal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessandro Galliani didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes Valdieri got a freekick which was hit by Fulvio Bozzelli. When Bianco Caroselli came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the forsal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bianco Caroselli couldn't finish the play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Attilio Fortunato was the one to do the kick off. Aurelio Di Lullo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bianco Caroselli showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 61 minute of play. Attilio Fortunato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Massa having to interfere. When Attilio Fortunato came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Valdieri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Attilio Fortunato couldn't finish the play. Aurelio Di Lullo came out of the goal and Carmine Alati tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carmine Alati sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of forsal FC booed when Valdieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elia Mascitti didn't get a good kick on the ball. forsal FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
