Li Archibugieri's Filippo Diana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Falempin in the 8th minute of play. Alex Giusto hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Axel Rouge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Diana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexis Back had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Back's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filippo Diana read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Li Archibugieri getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Alex Giusto hit a great ball. Bart Falempin took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Filippo Diana. Filippo Diana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 43rd minute Bart Falempin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filippo Diana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emilio Anzolin made a kick off. Li Archibugieri's Cristoforo Sammartano got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emilio Anzolin in the 53rd minute of play forced SILMONT's goalkeeper Marlene Dietrich to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, SILMONT's Bart Falempin got a free kick in the 54th minute. Filippo Diana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bart Falempin in the 78th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexis Back during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, SILMONT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Back to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of SILMONT booed when Li Archibugieri was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Giusto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filippo Diana was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jean-Christophe Eveno. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marlene Dietrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristoforo Sammartano in the 86th minute of the match. SILMONT's Marlene Dietrich played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilio Anzolin in the 90th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SILMONT reached it. Filippo Diana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bart Falempin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The SILMONT supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SILMONT would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
