Yann Scott scored 0-3 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dennis Calcio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, John Holmes put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Dennis Calcio. In the 32nd minute, John Holmes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dennis Calcio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. 35 minutes into the game, La Pointe Courte's Yann Scott nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dennis Calcio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. 39 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goal looked a bit too open when Dominique Virapin came free, but Dennis Calcio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dennis Calcio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yann Scott went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Sorci Viola's Armando Matteucci got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 46th minute John Holmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dennis Calcio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

53 minutes into the match, Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Dennis Calcio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yann Scott. After 54 minutes, Aurelio Gambini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sorci Viola and the La Pointe Courte players grew even worse after the yellow card. 58 minutes into the match, La Pointe Courte's John Holmes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dennis Calcio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 0-10 became the score in the 60th minute when Yann Scott elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. La Pointe Courte made a substitution. Mathys Guigon replaced Dominique Virapin. Patxi Seux hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Mathys Guigon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dennis Calcio. The goal made the score 0-11. Sorci Viola's Armando Matteucci quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tim Quantin, made in the 70th minute of the game. Sabri Fouquet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Dionisi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. With his leg Dennis Calcio managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when La Pointe Courte's Yann Scott fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dennis Calcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathys Guigon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sorci Viola's Dennis Calcio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Sorci Viola from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, La Pointe Courte's Raymond Lherbier got a free kick in the 80th minute. In the 82nd minute, La Pointe Courte's Mathys Guigon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-12. John Holmes struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dennis Calcio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Pointe Courte. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sorci Viola's goalkeeper Dennis Calcio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dennis Calcio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mathys Guigon showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-13 in the 88 minute of play. Dennis Calcio had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Mathys Guigon from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Yann Scott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over La Pointe Courte could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sorci Viola throughout the match.
