Spectators: 162 (Terracing: 122, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) Dennis Tozzi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th match minute, CA Boca Jrs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Tozzi to maneuver through the defense. Dennis Tozzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fortunato Bianchi having to make a save. 10 minutes into the match, Verbano FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dennis Tozzi came free, but Fortunato Bianchi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Dennis Tozzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Bianchi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuele Guaita made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Dario Scalabrino sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Christian Tomei took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Emanuele Guaita to make any attempt to save it. Fortunato Bianchi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ercole Ceresoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, one of Verbano FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Verbano FC. The referee gave CA Boca Jrs a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Corrado Cicchetti, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Verbano FC's Fortunato Bianchi. 1-1. If Ercole Ceresoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Christian Tomei made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Christian Tomei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuele Guaita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Dennis Tozzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fortunato Bianchi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Verbano FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Bianchi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Verbano FC's Fortunato Bianchi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Tozzi in the 81st minute of play. Christian Tomei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuele Guaita having to interfere. After 86 played minutes CA Boca Jrs got a freekick which was hit by Federico Monaco. Fortunato Bianchi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Tozzi in the 88th minute of play. Dennis Tozzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Bianchi having to interfere. When Antonello Fiore fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Boca Jrs's protests and gave Antonello Fiore a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Antonello Fiore hit a great ball. Emanuele Guaita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Christian Tomei's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Verbano FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
